INTERVIEW
I did an interview with Mr J Walsh as part of the promotional onslaught for my forthcoming gig in Brighton which he is promoting. You can read it HERE:

DATA AND DOCTOR DOOM
The online launch of my BOOK "Data and Doctor Doom: an empirical approach to transmedia characters" is happening on Tuesday 19 March at 7pm. It will be INFORMATIVE, FREE and hopefully FUN, and you can sign up HERE:
https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/41f412b8-a219-481e-bd04-44a7775bd7ab@8c6429c4-167f-477b-b8cb-77ee82758d11
THE BEANO
My article "Why aren't we talking about The Beano?" is out NOW in The Journal Of Graphic Novels And Comics. It's about the way that Comics Studies focuses on boring Posh Comics instead of massively popular series like The Beano, Dandy, Buster (etc etc). If you have access to Taylor & Francis journals you can read it HERE:

Alternatively, you can read it for free HERE:

AND FINALLY
Apologies for the lack of updates to the blog recently - as you can see above, I've been busy with Academical Stuff! However, I've got going again now and hope to keep it a bit more regular again for the next few months. You can see how I'm getting on HERE:

And that's the lot for this time - thanks for listening!
Cheers,
Mark
