I've been looking through my list of Past Gigs, and was quite surprised to find that the few days around the 7th November is my busiest time of year for The Rock. Fascinating eh? The reason I was looking at this was because three years ago today I played a gig at the Bull and Gate where, for the first time EvER, I met and spoke to The Love Of My Life. Aaah! Now, I remember me being exceptionally COOL and GROOVY during this Epochal Meeting, although for some reason Charlotte seems to think that I looked TERRIFIED to have a NICE GIRL talking to me, although that didn't stop me accepting a drink from her. That doesn't sound like me, does it?

It took a long time for us to get together after that, and if it wasn't for her DILIGENCE and PERSEVERANCE in the face of my overwhelming cluelessness it probably wouldn't have happened, but GOOD GOLLY I'm glad that she did... So please, gentle reader, join me in a slightly soppy toast to the pea in my pod, the sun in my sky and the love of my life, who met me at one of my gigs and STILL wanted to hang around with me. Thanks baby!
