It's time for yet another NEW SONG - Chips And Cheese, Pint Of Wine, over in the NEW SONGS section RIGHT NOW!

As it says in the ACCOMPANYING NOTES this song POPPED into my head first thing this morning, and very happy I was to welcome it into the world. I think PART of the compunction to write it came from the idea currently being floated in Validatory Circles to make our next EP and INDIE THEMED affair (as opposed, of course, to our usual JAZZ ROCK FUSION themes), possibly with Do The Indie Kid as lead track and OTHER songs to accompany it - you can probably guess at least one of them from the new songs list! ONE thought I'd had was to use one of the MUSIC OF THE FUTURE tracks we recorded the other week as a sort of background basis for something else, and it was with an ear COCKED in that direction that i came up with the fairly LIGHT and WISTFUL tune for this one, which, it could be argued, is also slightly INDIE THEMED.

We'll see how we get on anyway, in the meantime i'm quite pleased with it, the last bit especially gets me a bit NOSTALGIC, but then i suppose it would really, wouldn't it?
